Police urge people not to drink and drive after car overturns

Police in South Belfast have attended the scene of a road traffic accident, in which a car had been flipped onto its roof.

The force tweeted about the incident, but didn't provide any information surrounding the cause, aside from the words: "Never. Ever. Drink and drive."

They also confirmed that the driver has been arrested and will have a day in court, and did not sustain any injuries.

The force tweeted in the early hours of Christmas Day: "Never. Ever. Drink and drive. Pictures speak louder than words. This driver has been arrested and will have a day in court. Luckily they had no injuries."
