An Ipswich woman and her infant child who were missing since Tuesday have been located "safe and well", Queensland police reported.

Police had issued an urgent appeal for help to find 27-year-old Tara Inglis and her 18-month-old daughter, who were last seen near the intersection of Brisbane Road and South Station Road at Booval, west of Brisbane, on February 13 between 3:00pm and 4:00pm.

They said the mother and child had been at the nearby Booval Fair Shopping Centre with a man they knew, who police have since spoken to.

It was Ms Inglis might not be in possession of food or clothing for her and her daughter, and officers were worried for the pair's wellbeing as they also suffered from medical conditions.

Before Ms Inglis went missing, she was seen pushing the child in a pink pram.
