A woman in her 20s remains in hospital today following an attack by two intruders yesterday evening (November 12) at her home in Horfield.
The assault happened at around 5.15pm yesterday in Melton Crescent.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Constabulary has informed Bristol Live about the latest.
"The woman, who is her in 20s remains in hospital, she has injuries to her face, stomach and leg - not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
"Police enquiries into the incident are continuing."
Police haven't yet confirmed whether any weapon was used during the assault on the woman.
Police are still trying to find the perpetrators involved in this incident.
They have urged any witnesses to call 101 immediately: "Anyone with information is asked to contact us, quoting 5219262320."
