Longmoor Lane was closed for a large part of Sunday night while officers remained at the scene. The road reopened on Monday morning as officers reduced the cordon to just cover the three-storey property and the neighbouring buildings.

Neighbours told the ECHO of their shock at the distressing incident that had become the talking point of their community. One woman said they heard a "bang" before police swarmed to the street. A man witnessed the fall and said he was "in shock" after he "saw a body tumbling".

Enquiries remain ongoing into the man's death.
