A person arrested after a teenage boy was stabbed in Bristol has been released by police.
A 14 year-old boy was taken to hospital after he was stabbed in the arm during an altercation in a car park next to Queens Road, Withywood on Saturday (May 22)
His injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing according to officers who are investigating the incident.
A second boy was also physically assaulted during the altercation but suffered no visible injuries.
Detectives said they believe all those involved are known to each other and are treating the matter as an ‘isolated incident.’
Police also said they are not linking it to any other recent incidents in the south Bristol area.
Neighbourhood police are to carry out additional reassurance patrols in the area in the coming days and investigations are continuing.
A police spokesman said: “The arrested person has been released under investigation.”
