A teenager who was injured in a violent gang attack on Friday has been released from hospital.
Merseyside Police confirmed that officers were called to Marine Garden in Waterloo at around 9.15pm on Friday, September 23, over reports that three teenage boys had been assaulted by a group of around 10 youths. A bike and mobile phones are believed to have been stolen during the attack.
One boy was injured during the attack, with the teen being forced to go to hospital with injuries to his face and head. The group then ran away down South Road.

An investigation is underway, with a 14-year-old boy from Sefton who was arrested on suspicion of robbery now released on bail. The police force has since confirmed that the boy that was hospitalised with injuries has since been released, with no further arrests being made in connection with the attack.
Detective Inspector Peter McCullough said at the weekend: "This was a violent attack on a group of young boys that has left one of them with several injuries.
"We simply will not stand by and allow people to harm and threaten the safety of others in our community. The bike is described as a black Carrera Helcat and extensive enquiries are ongoing to locate the items stolen and the people responsible.
"If you were in Marine Garden last night at around 8.30pm and saw this incident then please come forward. Similarly, if you were driving on South Road and have dashcam footage then please review it and if you see anything, including the bike or the group of offenders, please let us know.
"Tell us what you know about this incident and we’ll take positive action to remove those who cause fear and harm in our communities from our streets."
