Police have uncovered a cannabis stash worth over £250,000 while searching two cars on the M74.
Two men, aged 37 and 40, have now been arrested in connection with the recovery yesterday, March 3.
The vehicles were pulled over by cops northbound on the motorway near Abington, South Lanarkshire around 11.40am.
The 37-year-old man was charged and due to appear before Airdrie Sheriff Court today, March 4.
The 40-year-old has been released while police carry out further enquiries.
