Police are treating the death of a 78-year-old woman in Perth as unexplained.
Officers were called to a house on Viewlands Road West in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Neighbours reported seeing officers from the CID as well as uniformed officers on the scene.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Around 1am on Wednesday, May 27 we were called to reports of a sudden death of a 78-year-old woman within a property on Viewlands Road, Perth.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
“A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.”
