Police treat death of man found in Maryhill flat as 'suspicious'

Police have launched a probe after a man was found dead in a flat in Maryhill.

Officers were called to Carrbridge Drive at around 7:55pm last night, where the body of the 45-year-old was discovered.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland confirm they are treating the death as suspicious and are carrying out enquiries.

She said: "At around 7:55pm on Monday 14 October, the body of a 45 year old man was found within a flat in Carrbridge Drive, Maryhill.

"A postmortem will take place in due course to establish the exact circumstances surrounding his death, which at this time police are treating as suspicious. Enquiries are continuing."
