Police treat death of 21-year-old dad of two in Rhymney as 'unexplained'

Police are treating the death of a 21-year-old man as 'unexplained' after he was found dead at a house in Rhymney.

The man is being named locally as Liam Norris, a father of two.

He was found in the early hours of Sunday, at around 12.50am, in a house in Moriah Street, Rhymney.

Tributes are pouring in for the young father on Facebook.

Gwent Police is now appealing for information.

A spokesman for the force, said: "At around 12.50am on Sunday 15th September, emergency services were called to a report that a 21 year old man had been found deceased within a property in the Moriah Street area of Rhymney.

"The cause of death has yet to be established and this will be determined following a post-mortem examination. His family have been informed.

"We are currently treating the death as unexplained.
