ACT Policing will investigate the cause of a crash near Scullin overnight.
Firefighters had to remove a female patient from the wreckage after the car crash at the intersection of Kingsford Smith Drive and Southern Cross Drive.
ACT Fire & Rescue and the ACT Ambulance Service responded to the incident about 1.45am on Thursday.
Northbound lanes of Kingsford Smith Drive were closed while emergency services attended to the scene.
Paramedics treated the patient at the scene before she was taken to hospital for further assessment.
