Police think this wanted man with a neck tattoo is somewhere in Bristol

A man wanted in connection with a string of crimes is thought to be somewhere in Bristol.

Police are trying to track down Kye Phillips, and have urged members of the public not to approach the 23-year-old if they see him.

Officers are concentrating their search in four areas, where they believe he is most likely to be: Fishponds, Barton Hill, Speedwell and Brislington.

One of the more distinctive features about his appearance is a neck tattoo, which can just about be seen in an image the force shared today (Monday, November 9).

Avon and Somerset Police have appealed for the public's help, and said Phillips is wanted in connection with a "number of offences".

The force said these include two assaults and a robbery.

He is described as approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of a large build, with short brown hair.

A statement from police read: "If seen, the public are advised not to approach Phillips but to call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5220215736."

The independent charity Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.

No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and informants will not go to court or have to speak to police.

Police did not provide further information about the offences Phillips is wanted in connection with.
