Police tape off Maryhill Road stretch in late night incident

Police taped off an area of Maryhill Road yesterday (Thursday) following a late night incident.

An eyewitness reports forensics officers combing the scene at a row of shops near Maryhill railway station, as well as uniformed police who cordoned off a 200 yard stretch of the busy road.

The nature of the incident is not yet known but Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.

It was reported to Glasgow Live around 11pm and two flat blocks in total were closed off by police tape.
