Police tape off home in east Manchester as officers seen carrying out enquiries

Police have taped off a residential property in Gorton.

Officers have been seen going in and out of a house, which appears to have been converted to flats, on Hyde Road this afternoon (Tuesday 14).

The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.

Greater Manchester Police have been contacted by the M.E.N for further information.

Pictures from the scene show a number of police vehicles stationed near to the property, which has been cordoned off.

A window appears to have been smashed and eye witnesses have reported seeing spots of blood.

The property is near to the junction of Reddish Lane and is opposite the entrance to Debdale Park.
