Police tape off Gourock flat amid early-morning incident

A block of flats has been taped off in Inverclyde after police raced to an early morning incident.

Officers were spotted guarding the area in Shore Street, Gourock on Thursday morning.

The close door and pavement outside has reportedly been cordoned off by cops.

The nature of the incident is unknown at this time.

The Daily Record have contacted Police Scotland for comment.
