Two men have been rushed to hospital after a disturbance on a Fife street.
Officers swooped on Links Street, Kirkcaldy at around 11am this morning.
A section of the road was taped off while police officers investigated the incident.
Both men were taken to the Victoria Hospital after suffering injuries.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "We were called to attend an incident at 10.50am on Links Street, Kirkcaldy, after reports of a disturbance.
"Two men were taken to Victoria Hospital. The extent of their injuries remains unclear but they are not thought to life-threatening at this stage.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
