Police are at the scene of an incident at Anniesland Cross.
An area of Great Western Road has been cordoned off after the alarm was raised at around 3:40pm.
A spokesman for the force confirms concerns had been raised for a person at a flat in Great Western Road.
He added: "Officers and negotiators are currently at the scene."
