Emergency services raced to West Granton Road in Edinburgh at around 5.25am this morning following the sudden death of a man.

A heavy police presence remains at the scene, with enquiries still ongoing.

Locals shared pictures at the scene which show police tape and officers in attendance.

While the death is not yet explained, it is understood that it is not being treated as suspicious.

An eyewitness described how there was a "large police presence and mortuary van on sight at Granton access cycle path tunnel."
