BTP had to issue a special dispersal order late on Sunday evening to prevent the three entering York station and the city centre.

BTP tweeted at 11.40pm: "Three youths dispersed from York city centre and train station this evening under a dispersal order for anti-social behaviour on board train from Leeds."

People are reminded to dial 999 in an emergency, otherwise BTP can be contacted on the non-emergency number 0800 40 50 40.
