Police swoop on suspected stolen car in Speke street

A large police presence was reported in Speke this afternoon after reports a suspected stolen car was spotted in the area.

Officers arrived in Blacklock Hall Road after being called at 1.40pm today.

A police spokesperson said: "We were called following reports a suspected stolen Mini Cooper had been spotted in the area of Blacklock Hall Road in Speke.

"The car has been forensically recovered and a search of the area has been carried out for any potential occupants but nobody has been located so far."
