Police swoop on man 'spotted trying car doors down quiet road'

A 39-year-old man has been arrested for interfering with a motor vehicle.

Police received a call in the early hours of this morning after the caller watched a man trying to open cars along Netherton Park Road in Litherland.

Police made their way to the scene where they spotted a man who was identified as the person involved. He was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.

Police are appealing for those who live around the Ennerdale Drive/Kirkstone Road South/Thirlmere Drive area and have CCTV or footage of this incident at around 1.50am to get in touch via 101 and quote 21000541308.
