Police swoop on Fife street as 'disturbance' breaks out

A woman and a woman have been arrested after a 'disturbance' broke out in Fife.

Police swooped on Lomond Gardens, Methil, after the alarm was raised at around 7.50pm on Tuesday night.

A man, 33, and woman, 24, were were both arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

They are due to appear in court today.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 7.50pm on Tuesday, 5 August, 2020, to a report of a disturbance on Lomond Gardens, Methil.

"A 33 year-old man and a 24 year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection.

"Both are due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today, 5 August, 2020."
