Police swoop on Falkirk house in early morning raid as witnesses hear shouting and banging

Police have raided a house in Falkirk as part of a drug search.

Officers stormed the property on Ladeside Crescent in Stenhousemuir shortly after 9:30am this morning.

At least seven cop cars were spotted on the residential street.

A woman who lives on the street said: "I was just back from Asda and the next minute I knew the street was swarmed with cops.

"They were everywhere, and I mean everywhere.

"Cars and vans arrived from nowhere. Cops got out and ran towards a house.

"I then heard shouting and banging."

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers executed a drug search warrant at a property on Ladeside Crescent in Stenhousemuir during the morning of Thursday March, 4.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
