Police swarm Baillieston street as disturbance sees one person rushed to hospital

One person has been rushed to hospital after a 'disturbance' in Baillieston .

Police and ambulance crews scrambled to South Scott Street at around 5.30pm on Friday.

Cops on the scene have confirmed that one man, who was injured, has been taken to hospital.

Paramedics could be seen working on an injured person as horrified locals watched on.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At 5.25pm on Friday, July 26, police were called to reports of a disturbance on South Scott Street in Glasgow.

"Emergency services are in attendance.
