Police surround Scottish street as 'badly injured' man dies after being found

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found injured on a Fife street.

Emergency services were called to Boblingen Way in the Tanshall area of Glenrothes in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Medics battled to save the badly injured man’s life but sadly he passed away at the scene.

A heavy police presence remains at the scene while they investigate the unexplained death.

The man has not yet been publicly identified with cops cordoning off a wooden path in the area.

Local reports suggest a forensic tent has also been erected at a nearby block of flats while one resident heard 'screaming' around the time of the grim discovery.

“He was pronounced dead at the scene

"The death is being treated as unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing.”
