Police discovered a cannabis farm at an address in Oldham while they were visiting for an unrelated matter.
Officers attended an address in Heyside, Royton , on Sunday for another issue.
However once inside the property they found a number of cannabis plants were growing inside.
The officers seized the plants.
A post on the Greater Manchester Police Royton and Shaw page said a man has been cautioned in relation to the incident.
The statement said: "On Sunday Police Officers attended an address in the Heyside area of Royton in relation to another matter.
"Whilst in the address a small quantity of cannabis plants were discovered.
"A male has been cautioned and the cannabis plants seized."
