Police stop 'erratic' West Lothian driver allegedly under influence of cocaine

Police arrested of an allegedly “erratic” West Lothian driver who they claim tested positive for two illegal substances.

Officers received reports of a vehicle being driven erratically in Livingston on Tuesday, April 26, and traced the vehicle on the B7066. Scotland’s road policing unit allege the driver tested positive for cannabis and cocaine.

Taking to Twitter they added how the driver was arrested and a blood specimen was obtained for analysis.

They said: “LivingstonRP attended reports of a vehicle being driven erratically in Livingston. The vehicle was traced on the B7066.

“The driver provided a positive drug wipe for cannabis and cocaine, was arrested and a blood specimen later obtained for analysis.”

Officers also uploaded a picture of the driver’s alleged roadside drug test result.
