The body of a man aged between 20 and 30 was discovered by a member of the public on September 13.
Police were called to the woods between Hillfoot Drive and Ring Road in Pudsey at 10.17am yesterday.
West Yorkshire Police have confirmed they were alerted by a member of the public who found the body and said the death of the man is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman for the force said: "At 10.17am on Sunday, September 13, police were contacted by a member of the public who had found the body of a man in woods between Hillfoot Drive and the Ring Road in Pudsey.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner’s office has been informed."
