Police have released a statement after two roads were closed due to concerns for a man's welfare.
NET said earlier a police incident in Hyson Green was causing 'major disruption' to tram services in one part of the city.
Nottingham Travelwise tweeted at 3.20pm: "Incident is now over. All roads have reopened and trams are running again."
Sergeant Gavin Berry, of Nottinghamshire Police, said earlier: “We were called to an address in Noel Street, shortly after 1pm following concerns for a man’s welfare.
"Officers remain at the scene and are currently engaging with him. Limited road closures have been put in place on Noel Street and Radford Road.”
A statement on NET's website said: "No Trams between Wilkinson Street to the Forest, due to a police incident.
"Trams are running to Wilkinson Street and then turning back to Hucknall and Phoenix Park.
"Trams from the Forest are turning back to Toton Lane and Clifton South. Apologies for the inconvenience. Nottingham City Transport Yellow line buses are accepting our tickets, numbers 68,69,70,71."
