Police statement after man taken to hospital after crash

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious leg injuries after he was involved in a collision with a car, police have said.

Officers were called to reports of a crash in Broxtowe Lane, on the Broxtowe Estate, in the Aspley area, shortly after 11.45am on Friday, October 29.

The man's injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening.

Broxtowe Lane is currently closed to all traffic between Coleby Road and the roundabout for Beechdale Road.

In a statement, Nottinghamshire Police added: "Drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible."
