Police were called out to Carlton after a car hit a lamppost.
Officers were called to Foxhill Road just after 5.40pm on Tuesday, November 10, following a report of the incident.
A spokeswoman for Nottinghamshire Police said: "One man, who was the driver of the car, received minor injuries in the incident which happened in Foxhill Road, Carlton."
There have been no arrests in connection with the incident.
Pictures, sent by a Nottinghamshire Live reader, has shown a police car that was at the scene.
