Police stand guard on Dundee street after 'disturbance' as man arrested

A man has been arrested as police swarmed a Dundee street after a 'disturbance' broke out.

The alarm was raised at around 3.15am this morning (Monday) as emergency crews raced to the property on Findowrie Street.

Locals reported seeing officer standing guard near a house in the street following the alleged incident.

A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Officers have now launched a full investigation into the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers are investigating a report of a disturbance at a property on Findowrie Street in Dundee.

"The incident was reported around 3.15am on Monday, 12 April.

"A 44-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and inquiries are ongoing."
