Police spot two men behaving suspiciously at Manchester park... and find a gun in a bush

A suspected handgun has been found in a bush in Moston.

A search was launched on Joyce Street this morning after officers spotted two men 'behaving suspiciously' in a wooded area.

During the search, involving armed police, crime scene investigators, the dog unit and officers from the Tactical Aid Unit, a suspected handgun was found in a bush.

"People think ‘oh this is just how Moston is’, but we live here - we don’t want to be seeing police here", one said.

"It’s getting worse this place, you often see cops around here now", another told the M.E.N .
