Police spot thugs breaking into home - when they followed them in, they found a cannabis farm inside

Two men were found breaking into a house that police later found out was a cannabis farm.

Police on patrol spotted the thugs breaking into a house in Tonge Moor Road, Bolton on Monday morning.

The officers moved quickly to arrest the duo, but on closer inspection of the house they discovered a big surprise - the property the two men were trying to enter was actually a cannabis farm.

Officers entered the home to find rooms completely covered in silver-coloured material, lining a room complete with ventilation equipment.

The police shared an image of their discovery, showing the kitted-out room.

Officers from Greater Manchester Police's Bolton North neighbourhood team said in a Facebook post: "#ARREST | 2 males have been arrested breaking into a house on Tonge Moor Road, #TongeMoor which turned out to be a cannabis farm."
