Police officers reportedly spotted a driver watching England's latest Euro 2020 clash while travelling along the M6.
The Central Motorway Policing Group (CMPG) - a dedicated team that patrols major routes including the M6 - tweeted about the incident during England's semi-final game with Denmark.
They say the driver was subsequently reported for the offence.
A CMPG spokesman said: "We know that tonight is a important night for football and everyone wants to watch the game.
"But watching it on a tablet while driving along the M6 is not the way."
England and Denmark were drawing 1-1 at the time.
The winner of the clash will face Italy in the Euro 2020 final at Wembley on Sunday.
It comes as The Azzurri beat Spain in a penalty shoot-out last night.
