Police smash through front door to find cannabis farm inside house

A cannabis farm was found at a house in the Rhondda during a police raid on Monday, December 2.

A video released by South Wales Police shows an officer using a ram to repeatedly batter and then smash a hole in the front door of the property, in order for police to gain entry.

Several officer can be seen climbing through the smashed panel of the door to search the address in Wattstown, near Porth , using a drugs warrant.

Inside the house, a sophisticated cannabis farming operation was found, with heaters and ventilation equipment installed in what appears to be the converted living room of the house, complete with flowery wallpaper.

South Wales Police Rhondda Valleys released a statement on social media saying: "One male in custody following successful drug warrant carried out in Wattstown today."
