Police cordoned off a main road in Chorlton after a man fell from a mobility scooter.
Emergency services were called to Barlow Moor Road this afternoon (Wednesday) at around 1.10pm.
A man, thought to be in his 80s, was found to have fallen from his mobility scooter, police said.

The nature of his injuries have not been confirmed, with the incident said to be 'ongoing.'
Barlow Moor Road was closed in both directions between Wilbraham Road and High Lane in Chorlton.

It has since reopened but emergency crews remain at the scene.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed they were called to the scene at around 1.10pm on Wednesday afternoon to reports that a man had fallen off his scooter.
A spokesperson for NWAS said: "We can confirm there is an ambulance on Barlow Moor Road, responding to a patient who has fallen from a mobility scooter.
"The incident is still ongoing."
