Police sealed off a busy road in Ayr after a road traffic accident.
It would appear cars collided in Main Road, Ayr, before 8am today.
One vehicle could be seen badly smashed at the side of the road.
Several officers and police cars could be seen at the scene.
Diversions would put in place.
Drivers heading into Ayr were diverted along Thornyflat Road.
Police Scotland have been contacted about the incident.
