One of Manchester's busiest roads was shut off this morning (Saturday) after a crash. It happened on Hyde Road on the border of Ardwick and West Gorton at around 8am.
Just one car is said to have been involved in the collision. A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesperson said the extent of the injuries suffered was still unclear at this stage.
Traffic service report say the car overturned in the collision.

Pictures from the scene showed a number of emergency service vehicles underneath the railway bridge between the junctions with Toll Bar Street and Bennett Street.
Vehicles approaching the bridge were being turned around and diverted by officers. The road reopened at about 1pm.
