A section of Paisley Road West has been shut down due to an ongoing police incident.
Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management team (TRAFFCOM) confirmed the street is currently closed between Edmiston Drive and Broomloan Road, near Ibrox Stadium.
It's understood the area has been in lockdown since 9pm last night, with reports of an incident on Skene Close, while Glasgow Live were also made aware of activity on Helen Street.
TRAFFCOM have this morning issued a statement which reads: "Due to an ongoing Police incident Paisley Road West is closed in both directions between Edmiston Drive and Broomloan Road / Dumbreck Road
"An update will be issued when the incident has been cleared.
"Local access will be maintained up to Beech Avenue westbound only."
Glasgow Live have contacted Police Scotland for comment.
