Police shut down 'massive party' with speakers, food and karaoke

Police were left in "absolute" shock after shutting down a "massive" party complete with a karaoke.

Officers in Derby were forced to act after finding 25 adults and children gathered for a party with speakers, beer and food in the middle of the current coronavirus lockdown.

The police force shared the picture on Twitter showing a table full of party food and two speakers stacked on top of eachother.

They said: "Officers have just attended an address in absolute shock to find 25 adults and children having a massive party with speakers and karaoke.

"Everyone dispersed and hosts dealt with. It is clear people are still having complete disregard for the Government advice and rules."

They even had speakers and a karaoke set up (Derby West Response)

In Wales officers were seen attending road blocks on the A470 near Pen y Fan.

On Saturday morning,  Dyfed-Powys Police  officers were stationed at Storey Arms in the Brecon Beacons to check whether journeys being made were essential. They even stopped a person from Bristol trying to climb Pen y Fan, telling them to go home immediately.

And in Cardiff South Wales Police stopped to break up a friendly football match on Roath Recreational Ground.
