A lane on the A77 is currently closed following an incident this afternoon.
Police are currently in attendance at the slip road to the Bellfield Interchange in Kilmarnock with a recovery vehicle also at the scene.
It's understood that an HGV has gotten into difficulty on the road but this remains unconfirmed.
The cab of a vehicle can be seen facing the opposite direction while traffic negotiates round the obstacle.
Traffic was not heavy on the main stretch of road but queues were forming on the slip shortly after the incident.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
