Police share warning to cyclists after seeing 'some really poor riding'

Police have offered a word of advice to cyclists after seeing some "very poor riding" over the weekend.

Officers said the cycling was "potentially putting the riders in danger".

A video by Global Cycling Network was then shared with tips on safe cycling, which was called "How not to be a d**k on a bike".

The Avon and Somerset Constabulary road safety unit tweeted: "We try hard to do our bit to protect #cyclists but today witnessed some really poor riding, potential putting the riders in danger.

"Help us to help you - the rules of the road apply to all. Check out this advice from the team at #GCN @gcntweet:"
