These photos show the ridiculous way scores of drivers leave their cars when they park in the city centre.
The pictures show cars abandoned in the middle of pavements by careless motorists.
Local officers posted the ridiculous images on their Twitter account on Monday afternoon.
They went out to clamp down on bad parking following 'ongoing complaints' from members of the public.
The post, put up at 1.30pm, said: "Traffic PCSOs have been in and around the city centre this morning, responding to ongoing complaints of vehicles causing obstruction.
"Blinded by the thought of free parking is no excuse.
"Pavement puts the vulnerable in danger, don’t do it."
A number of traffic offence reports have been issued to the culprits, the post said.
