Police seize two BMWs in separate incidents within 15 minutes

Road policing and safety officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland seized two BMWs in separate incidents just 15 minutes apart on Tuesday evening (October 12).

The officers, working as part of the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Intercept Team were patrolling the Mid and East Antrim policing area at the time of stopping the vehicles.

Both drivers stated that they believed they had valid insurance, but following checks it was soon apparent that both policies had expired.

The cars were subsequently seized and both drivers were issued with tickets.
