Police seize suspected stolen beach buggy and quad bike

Officers from Merseyside Police's Roads Policing Unit made an unusual discovery on Friday night (October 15) after patrols spotted two small vehicles being loaded onto a trailer.

The persons present were unable to prove ownership of the vehicles in question (a beach buggy - pictured below - and a quad bike) nor were they willing to offer any information to the police, so they were subsequently seized.

Officers believe they were stolen from the L5 post code area.

People are reminded to dial 999 in an emergency, or otherwise call the 101 non-emergency number. Alternatively, Merseyside Police can be contacted via the force's website here.
