Police seize more than 50 cannabis plants in business park drugs bust

Police seized a haul of cannabis plants after raiding a business park near Bristol.

A "significant quantity" of cannabis, including more than 50 plants, were discovered growing inside a commercial unit in Kingswood.

The drugs bust was carried out by Avon and Somerset Police officers yesterday (Tuesday, February 23), at Oakfield Business Park.

A force spokesperson said: "Two areas of active cannabis grows were located and officers recovered more than 50 plants, as well as a significant quantity of cropped plants.

"Enquiries continue and officers are keen to hear from anyone with any information that could assist their investigation."

They executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at a location described only as a "commercial premises".

Images shared with Bristol Live appear to show large cannabis plants surrounded by a mess of wires and equipment.

As of this morning, no arrests had been made in connection with the find.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who might have information.
