Police seize drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds after raid on Perth house

Drugs with a street value of £20,000 have been recovered from a house in Perth.

Officers from Police Scotland found the substance after swooping on a property in Fues Road.

During the raid, which took place at around 11.20am on Tuesday, November 10, police discovered a cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of £20,000 was recovered.

Herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of £5500 was also found.

Constable Matthew Bull from Perth Police Station said: “Enquiries are ongoing to identify and trace the person or persons involved in this drugs activity and I would appeal to anyone with information that could assist officers to get in touch.

“Drugs have absolutely no place in our community and officers are working every day to gather intelligence and target offenders.
