Police seize drugs worth £150k in bust in major Scottish city

POLICE have seized drugs worth £150,000 at an address in a major Scottish city.

Officers found a major cannabis cultivation in Glasgow over the weekend.

At 5pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025 officers discovered the drug at an address in Croftend Avenue.

A total of 150 cannabis plants were discovered and estimated to be worth around £150,000.

A 47-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, January 20, 2025.

Inspector Christopher Thomson said “Serious and Organised Crime remains a priority and along with our partners and specialist resources, we are committed to detecting offences and disrupting criminal enterprises. "We rely on the public to tell provide us with information to help us do so. "Anyone with concerns around drugs should contact us on 101.
