Police have arrested a man believed to be the ACT President and National Sergeant-at-Arms of the Rebels outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG).

On Thursday taskforce Nemesis officers executed a search warrant in Braddon, seizing a Chrysler 300C sedan and a mobile telephone.

The 50-year-old Wollogorang, NSW man was arrested and charged with telecommunications offences and given conditional bail to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on February 21.

Police will allege the Chrysler was purchased with proceeds of crime and was owned by a second member of the Rebels OMCG, who was charged in November 2021 with multiple unrelated offences.
